What does coronavirus mean for Georgia State?

March 4 - March 13, 2020


As the coronavirus swept across the nation, its impacts were heavy at Georgia State as well. Students grew in concern, professors took their own action from canceling classes and abandoning attendance policies, a petition with more than 30,000 signatures started.


Eventually, the campus was closed for two weeks, leading to a slew of questions on how this would impact students in housing, students without access to technology or internet for online courses and changes in access to campus resources like the counseling center.
