Orientation leader says they were told to ‘stay away’ from The Signal, magazine controversy

As a followup to a previous story, that covered Georgia State's decision to remove the magazine, The Urbanite, of the independent student newspaper, The Signal, from freshman orientation bags – a previously long standing agreement – this story takes a look inside, with three orientation leaders sharing what went on behind the scenes.

Despite being told officially that the removal was to reduce "paper usage" and finding in a open records request that content played a role, one student said censorship at the university is a problem.
