The NAACP hosted a protest at the Georgia state Capitol as lawmakers return to session for the first day since their break due to COVID-19. Their concerns include criminal justice reform, the fatal police shooting of Rayshard Brooks and voting rights — less than a week after Brooks death and a messy Election Day.
