I am currently working at The Weather Channel as a content writer and weekend editor, starting there in April 2026.
During the week, I write articles, scripts for horizontal web videos and vertical social videos, record voice-overs and help with story finding. I cover topics including climate, environment, space, science, nature, animals — and of course, weather.
On weekends, I work as the Shift Lead and Editor, reviewing and editing all content (video and written) before it goes live, directing workflow and assignments, project managing on each of the stories going out for the day, reviewing the newsletter and maintaining internal team communications and databases.
My previous place of employment before this was at The Marietta Daily Journal and working as a freelancer.
